We are incredibly proud to celebrate that Ethan Dickinson Annell has been offered a scholarship with the Academy at Oxford United F.C..
Ethan’s journey began at just six years old under the guidance of former Had A Prayer Academy coach, Micky Clayton. Now former Development Centre Manager at PDC, Micky identified a rising star in Ethan early on, mentoring and supporting him at both academy and grassroots level.
Throughout his journey, Ethan has experienced fantastic milestones including development fixtures, County Cup success, National SCI Champions honours, and competing against an array of Category One professional academies such as:
- Arsenal F.C.
- Tottenham Hotspur F.C.
- Liverpool F.C.
- Manchester City F.C.
- Fulham F.C.
- AFC Bournemouth
These experiences have helped shape Ethan into the player he is today, and this scholarship opportunity is thoroughly deserved.

We’re thrilled to announce that Zach Christie has been offered a full scholarship at AFC Bournemouth along with a professional contract!
This is an incredible achievement for Zach, and it speaks volumes about his talent and hard work.
- Background: Zach is the son of the legendary Malcolm Christie, who made a name for himself at Middleborough and Derby County FC. It’s wonderful to see the legacy continue in the next generation!
- New Beginnings: Zach joined AFC Bournemouth and was presented with his first contract by
Micky Clayton, the current PDC Manager,
who dedicated 15 years to the AFC Bournemouth Academy.
This partnership is sure to nurture Zach's skills and help him grow as a player.

Pathway Development Centre (PDC) are really proud to announce the exciting news of the launch of the new development centre which officially opens and delivers sessions from Tuesday 3rd June 2025
PDC are equally excited to collaborate with Pat Wilson of PW Training to deliver high quality, academy standard training sessions.
This exciting news brings our very own, academy manager, Micky Clayton and Pat Wilson back together in this joint venture where they first met and managed AFC Bournemouth Academy
The development centre has specialised, tailor made sessions for age groups U7 - U16, numbers will be limited so we strongly recommend you book now to avoid disappointment.
